Social Work faculty and student are recognized at IUPUI honors convocation April 20, 2009 - Dr. Carol Hostetter, an Associate Professor of Social Work was among those from the school that were honored at the IUPUI Chancellor's Academic Honors Convocation.
Dr. Hostetter received the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. She and School of Social Work Assistant Professor Sabrina Williamson Sullenberger were also recognized for receiving the School's Trustees Teaching Award.
School of Social Work Professor William Barton was among the faculty recognized for receiving a prestigious External Award, the Natalie S. Bimel Award for Outstanding Contributions to Juvenile Detention Reform by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
Mary Janna Mallay, a senior in the School of Social Work was recognized as one of the Chancellor's Scholars. She has a overall GPA of 3.985 and has been on the Dean's list since 2007.
